Matadero Frigorifico Santa Cruz S.A – FRIGOR is a livestock services company that was born on the initiative of livestock producers, with 25 years of uninterrupted experience in the slaughter of cattle and pigs and processing of meat products.
Matadero Frigorifico Santa Cruz S.A is one of the largest meat processing plants in the country due to its installed capacity, standing out for having a large geographical coverage in Bolivia. We have the export certification and categorization issued by the SENASG.
The company has advanced technology equipment, complying with processes adjusted to national and international regulations and standards, which allow it to provide solutions in:

- Distribution to your clients.
The integration that exists with livestock producers with high genetics and productivity allows us to achieve an efficient value generation chain in the meat industry, currently offering our products internationally.
Cattle slaughter
In its modern refrigerator, it receives, weighs, classifies and inspects cattle for processing, under official SENASAG regulations. Then, carcasses are selected and classified that will be distributed in different markets in the country.
To develop these activities, Matadero Frigorifico Santa Cruz S.A has:
- More than 4000 m2 of industrial infrastructure
- Corrals with capacity for 800 cattle
- 12 refrigerated storage chambers with capacity for more than 700 cattle
- More than 50 people on the work line
- Benefit capacity of 400 cattle per day
All these processes follow a production criterion with a flow from the dirty area to the clean area, which allows there to be no cross contamination.
The Bovine Slaughter plant has veterinary doctors and technical inspectors to guarantee the health of the meat that will be distributed in the market.
In addition, there is a quality control area, a food safety space and a permanent monitoring and inspection system to guarantee safety throughout the process.
Pig slaughter
There is a slaughter chain for pigs, in which the service is provided to pig producers. Following the relevant regulations both in processing and safety.
DEPOSTING SERVICE
Matadero Frigorifico Santa Cruz S.A has adequate infrastructure and equipment to provide a stripping service to third parties according to the client’s needs, whether brands or types of stripping.
Our deburring plant is implemented under international criteria and standards.
It has the corresponding Bolivian health authorizations, in addition to authorization from SENASA PERU, which allows the export of beef to that country.
RANCHER
Our Livestock Farmer support service is completely personalized, always with the aim of optimizing the services provided for all livestock farmers, ensuring them the best price, punctuality of payments and, above all, the best performance.
Matadero Frigorifico Santa Cruz S.A provides advice on the management and fattening of livestock thanks to trained professionals who offer technical and health support.
We facilitate the organization of the transportation of animals and their collection in distant areas.
FRIGOR permanently supports livestock events in Bolivian territory.
