Frigor S.A is a company of livestock services that was born of the initiative of livestock producers, and has over 25 years of experience in the slaughter of bovine and porcine livestock and the processing of meat products.
To be the best and most efficient service organization of the meat industry in Bolivia, to implement strategies in our supply chain that will enable us to sustainably exploit the great livestock potential of the region in order to provide the national and international market with healthy, high quality, and hygienically processed products in accordance with internationally accepted standards.
The process of continuous improvement in FRIGOR is based on values of honesty, commitment and loyalty.
Food Safety
FRIGOR S.A policy is to provide quality services and produce healthy, nutritional meat products, to satisfy the expectations of its customers and to fulfill recognized national and international standards.
FRIGOR has implemented a series of systems of Good Manufacturing Practices for each area and all of them have standardized cleaning and disinfection procedures
Animal Health
In FRIGOR S.A we implement the guidelines and procedures of SENASAG and OIE regarding animal health.
We are part of the National Epidemiological Surveillance System (SENASAG), performing verifications through pre- and post- mortem inspections, to understand and control the possible different epidemiological situations that may be encountered during slaughter; and to achieve control traceability.
The epidemiological surveillance system during slaughter is a method of tracking and monitoring potential incidents, complementary to the controls of the products, through procedures that translate into practical routine monitoring.
FRIGOR S.A constitutes a critical linkage in the activities of recording and reporting of diseases to SENASAG in order to analyze, interpret, and make decisions.
Animal Welfare
FRIGOR S.A is part of the program between the Government of Santa Cruz and SENASAG, to implement appropriate procedures for animal welfare.
We ensure animal welfare from the field, transportation to our facilities, and in holding pens and slaughter.
Our infrastructure and facilities are optimal to provide the necessary protection to the animal; from its arrival to the landing stage, to entry into the processing areas.
Pen environments are optimal for rational management and good animal husbandry practices, providing appropriate features in pens, such as non-skid floors and clean water.
Permanent controls of livestock handling are instituted by veterinary experts from FRIGOR S.A.
Institutional Relations
FRIGOR S.A incorporates an organizational relationship that encourages initiative from staff in various activities, including drafting of regulations and production development plans throughout the process chain.
FEGASACRUZ.- The chief establishment of stockbreeders brings together the major participants in the meat production chain, with whom all health aspects, policy and production in the process of generating value of the meat, is coordinated.
SENASAG.- FRIGOR, together with SENASAG oversees the health protection of agricultural heritage with strict control, to ensure food safety in production and processing sections.
FEXPOCRUZ.– Exhibition Fair of Santa Cruz, now regarded as the primary business center of Bolivia, has become the ideal place to establish commercial contacts with the rest of the world. FRIGOR participates in this event as an exhibitor, and sponsor endorser of alternative breeds of livestock. FRIGOR is an integral part of this organization, continuously contributing and participating directly in the livestock exhibitions.
ASOCEBU.- FRIGOR collaborates with ASOCEBU in a variety of production programs for the Cebu breed.
CADEX.- FRIGOR provides its experience to the Chamber of Exporters to contribute consistently in the development, diversification, added value, and the capture of new markets for Bolivian exports.
Suppliers
SAUSALITO, a farm with 50 years of experience, is dedicated to the breeding of Nelore (a Cebu breed), known for its genetic excellence.
Sausalito breeding animals, champions of the breed, and leaders of the Asocebu Ranking in various efforts, stand out for their high genetic quality. Continuous improvement of the breed, quality and productivity, are the objectives that drive the results with the signing of Sausalito.
SOTAGSA, This animal reserve, under the control of PABCO, is one of the official suppliers of FRIGOR.
In its modern containment facility, it feeds animals of superior genetics, and obtains excellent completion of fat and meat conformation.
